The ‘Coimbra’ tour offers a unique experience of the famous City of Students, birthplace of fado and one of Portugal's most important cultural centres. During the tour, you will have the opportunity to explore its academic, artistic and historical heritage in a city that has been the intellectual heart of the country for centuries.

• University of Coimbra — one of the oldest and most prestigious in Europe, with a remarkable architectural heritage, including:
• Joanina Library * exterior 
• Porta Férrea
• University Tower (‘A Cabra’)
• Old Royal Palace
• Sé Velha de Coimbra, one of the most emblematic Romanesque monuments in Portugal
• Arco de Almedina, part of the old medieval wall
• Church of Santa Cruz, where Dom Afonso Henriques, the first king and founder of Portugal, is buried.

The tour is accessible to all age groups, starting at €140.

There is an additional charge of €33 per person, up to a maximum of 7 people.
